Long before I wrote books for a living, I was the girl with a paperback tucked into her tote bag, sneaking pages between flights as a flight attendant. I logged thousands of miles, met countless interesting people, and somewhere above the clouds, I started imagining their love stories instead of just my own.

Eventually, I traded my wings for a writing desk near the Rocky Mountains, where I live with my husband and our four wonderful kids. My days are filled with carpools, walks with friends, family movie nights, and—of course—pages and pages of small-town romance.

When I’m not writing, you can usually find me curled up with a book, planning our next family trip, watching way too many rom-coms, or sipping herbal tea by a sunny window. I love travel, big family dinners, the smell of pine trees after a rainstorm, and that quiet moment when a story finally clicks into place.

I believe in love at first sight, and the second look too, in the magic of coming home, and in the kind of happily ever after that feels earned. If you love stories where the heroes are good, the heroines are brave, and the kisses are absolutely worth waiting for, I think we’re going to be friends.
